What do we choose to see when the seeing is destined for forgetting? 

MY CANDLE BURNS AT ONE END is a collection of firsts-of-the-roll taken by Chelsea between 2022 and 2026, through each of these recollecting immiscible feelings of being in a place, starting something new, and making a memory of which a part promises to burn off. 

All images were taken with an Olympus OM-2 and a variety of filmstock.
